The Plexus Way™: Focusing on your Plexus® Business

It’s a big world out there, and it can be way too easy to get sidetracked sometimes. How can we keep ourselves from being distracted by everything happening on social media? Here are some ideas to help you, and your team, stay focused on building strong, healthy Plexus® businesses.

Invest in your team

What helpful advice did you receive from your upline when you first started your Plexus business? Are there things that you wish you’d known before reaching out to prospective customers? Recruiting Ambassadors to join you on your journey is just part of the equation; it’s also important to make sure each person you sponsor has the tools they need to duplicate your success without having to jump through hoops. And by consistently offering your complimentary services as a sponsor and coach and checking in with your team, you can keep your team’s excitement levels for the opportunity strong.

Take it outside

Is there drama in your life? Disagreements? Maybe you’re having a heated political discussion with someone. We get it. Everyone’s gone through it, but not everyone needs to see it. Try to settle disputes through private channels to avoid dragging your Plexus team into the turbulence and derailing their focus. Just be conscious of who can see what you post publicly. As you foster the One Plexus spirit and reach out to new customers, the last thing you’d want is to lose a prospect because of something said in the heat of the moment.

Staying the course

We all love following the hot new thing, whether it’s the newest iPhone or an app that gives money for referrals. But when you have a team following your every move, it may not be the best idea to direct them to something that offers short-term gain and takes their attention away from building lasting businesses. It can be hard when you see others around you taking interest, but be ready to prioritize because when you try to juggle multiple focuses, something will eventually fall by the wayside. Hopefully, it isn’t your Plexus business.

Product sales the right way

Plexus makes it easy for customers to create accounts and manage their own orders and you’re even able to track your customers’ statuses in your Virtual Office. With how convenient this is, Ambassadors don’t need to sell products on sale sites like Ebay and Craigslist, which is against Plexus policies anyway. And while it can be fun to raffle off a free 3 day trial pack on your Facebook page as an incentive to potential customers, be sure not to charge for entry into a raffle or offer full packages of product. Not only is it against Plexus policies, and likely state laws, it can also take away from your social media wavelength. With how much there is to navigate on social media already, the last thing you want to do is add to the clutter with something that doesn’t help build your business.

We can’t wait to see you and your team take your businesses to the next level when you shrug off those distractions and focus on Plexus.
