It’s the final part of our Joyōme series! We hope you’ve enjoyed the journey and maybe even learned something new. If you’ve been wondering if there are differences to keep in mind when advertising Joyōme to Canadian audiences, then you’ve definitely come to the right place.

Same as the U.S.

For Plexus®, Joyōme marks quite a few firsts. It’s our first skincare line. It’s our first product to take the skin microbiome into consideration. And, it’s the first product to have a simultaneous U.S. and Canada launch. That’s right, with Canada’s launch earlier this year, Plexus is dedicated to releasing U.S. and Canadian products as close together as possible.

Even better, all the language for Joyōme was crafted to be compliant for use in U.S. and Canada markets simultaneously! That means Joyōme claims that you see in U.S. materials are the same claims that you’d see in Canada materials. Not only does this make it easier to keep track of claims while you’re advertising to a separate market, but it also means there’s less to memorize.

Different from the U.S.

However, there is still one part of Joyōme that you should keep in mind while sharing: the Beauty From Within story. While Joyōme claims are okay to use in both markets at the same time, the newly added Plexus Slim® and Plexus XFactor Plus™ claims are not available for Canada yet.

Our amazing Research and Development Team was able to find substantiation for some new U.S. claims that show how existing Plexus supplements were doing more for than we originally thought. While we are doing our best to get these exciting new claims to the Canadian market, the registration process can take a little time.

Keeping things separate

So how can we tell a compliant Beauty From Within story in Canada? The trick is to keep things separate. Because Plexus products are registered in Canada as individual products and not in packs as product systems, we cannot talk about benefits from products being used together in Canadian markets like we can for the U.S. market (like with the U.S. Triplex combo).

A Canadian Beauty From Within story will instead connect the dots for audiences by addressing each product individually.

Beauty From Within

A sample story might look like this for Canadian audiences:

  1. Plexus offers an amazing line of products that support both your inner and outer beauty.
  2. Joyōme has an amazing microbiome balancing complex that helps replenish your skin’s moisture barrier. When your skin microbiome is out of balance, your moisture barrier can break down, allowing environmental age aggressors to penetrate the skin, leading to the visible signs of aging.
  3. Did you know that Slim helps to protect cells from environmental damage caused by free radicals?
  4. And XFactor Plus provides free radical protection as well as support for healthy hair, skin, and nails.

Using just a few simple sentences, you can easily present a compelling story.
